Hello,

I’m Jose Blanco, Jose as most people call me.

I was born in Ourense, on June 15, 1976, and I grew up in my homeland, Galicia.

When I was 17 years old, I participated in the creation of my first association, linked to the world of new technologies, and I loved the experience.

My academic training has been mainly humanistic, but I have continued learning through specialized courses in a wide variety of fields, from photography, IT, people management, business management, communication and marketing, … and also association management, of course.

Over the years I have continued to be involved with the associative world, in many ways, until 2006, when I decided to create Rabuso, specifically to start managing a newly established association.

My professional experience includes multiple fields of communication, marketing, events and editorial, with special emphasis on institutional work in several European countries and in Brussels before the European Union.

I am the father of two children, who are nowadays my main attention when I am not working.

In addition, I love motorcycles and in general anything with an engine, screws or that can be disassembled.

I am also a friend of a good debate, sharing business management dynamics or any topic related to the areas of communication and marketing.

In the company, my main role is to take care of everything related to the governance and strategy of the associations, supporting the rest of my colleagues in our team.

Until COVID arrived, I spent almost every week traveling around Spain and Europe, but this new reality is helping me to do things differently.
