Unethical use of persuasive techniques can seriously damage long-term trust.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1807\">Cialdini also introduces the concept of <strong data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1711\">\u201cpre-suasion\u201d<\/strong> as an important element in the persuasive process.
